July 25th - July 31stWe
have a few fun things in the works right now, and would love your
feedback, since... well, let's face it... since what we do here is really for you.
So, here you have it: the
insider's track to the things you'll want to know:
Member Jessica Ahmed is working on a few things to bring music in to our lives, and to offer City Club members a fun way to get to music. "Opera per i Manichini"is a new vision for discovering Opera. Translated as "Opera for
Dummies" (because we're classy that way), this program will tie in with
Opera Colorado performances later this year and look to make opera more
accessible with a discussion before hand, and field trip to
performances.
Have a favorite band,
or performer you like to go see her in Boulder? In Denver? Let us
know what's coming up, and we'll try to rally a group to go! City Club
is all about community, so let's work on seeing each other more and
sharing things we enjoy!
Looking for a partner to run with? Have more fun when running with others? We know there are a few of you
out there, and are looking to connect you. This will be City Club's
first ever fitness group, and we want to hear from you!
Enneagram in Film - Carolyn Schuham and David Spiro (on collaboration with Carolyn's partner Elizabeth) are crafting a series of films to be chosen specifically for their painfully accurate depiction of certain Enneagram personality types. Films will be screened on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, starting in September. Stay tuned for more details!
Have something to share? Email Anja (she can add it here), post to Facebook directly or Blog about it! |
