Ben grew up on an apple orchard in central Washington where he learned the value of an active imagination. He played rugby in college and learned the brain is a magnificent, yet very sensitive organ. 

Ben has lived in several places such as Portland, Boston, San Francisco, Perth, Honduras, and in his van on the road, learning that moving often is a great way to pair down the number of things we own. 

Ben has had many jobs with many companies, which has helped him understand the importance of maintaining an elastic mind and skillset, proving Darwin theory that it was not the strongest of the species that survived, but the most adaptable to change.
