Julie is the Executive Director of the Oreg Foundation, which, amongst many other good deeds, has led the effort of to create the magnificent Boulder Jewish Commons, the campus that includes the JCC at the NE corner of Arapahoe and Cherryvale Roads in Boulder.

Julie feels fortunate to be able to combine her personal passions with her professional work in supporting educational, environmental, Jewish and local community service initiatives. She has been involved in Colorado’s non-profit world as a professional and lay leader for over 25 years, and serves on the Board of Directors of several other non-profit organizations and committees. 

As a founding board member of the Boulder Jewish Community Foundation, Julie was honored for her dedication and extraordinary work in the Boulder Jewish community. She has also been an honoree of the BJCC at their annual gala. 

Julie enjoys travel, hiking, swimming, reading and discussing politics. She and her husband Bruce have been Boulder residents for over forty years and raised their three children in Boulder. They feel fortunate to be able to spend time in their Boulder and Jerusalem homes.
