75 years ago this week, the Allies brought the Nazi threat to an end, with resolve, tenacity, creativity, and leaders who knew they must work together to succeed. With over 16 million Americans in uniform and at a cost of $4 Trillion in today’s currency, WWII proved America is capable of paying the price to keep the lights on in the metaphoric shining city on the hill.

From the American Revolution through the Civil War, from the Great Depression through two World Wars, time and again Americans have elected leaders like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower, just to name a few, to get us through difficult times.

Today's intellectual fad posits America’s best days are behind it, as evidenced by the great partisan divide that seems to be tearing our country apart. Don’t count us in this camp.

To date the Coronavirus has cost over $2 Trillion in government subsidies. Next time you doubt America, ask yourself what other country has the political infrastructure, economic resources and financial systems in place to distribute trillions of dollars within weeks with minimum infighting, bribery and graft?! What our seemingly "partisan political leaders” just delivered made throwing dollars from helicopters a rookie move.

Born to Indian parents, Haley served as governor of South Carolina, U.S. ambassador to the UN, and is a presumptive Republican candidate for 2024 presidency, once again proving America is still capable of producing the material goods, and the leaders to fight and win any battle, including our current war against the Coronavirus.
