Whether we like it or not, we are engaged in politics and are affected by it, like fish swimming in water; so while we always encourage our members to participate in our local and national politics, we seldom make recommendations.

We are not big fans of our local newspaper under their new out of state ownership, but they say even a dead clock is right twice a day, so when we noticed the Daily Camera Editorial Board’s recommendation for six new council members is a perfect match to our list, we decided to share this list with our members just in case there are a few who have not paid full attention to this important local election and would like to know our opinion.
