Pat Kennedy
Raised in Buffalo, NY. as the oldest of six, Pat was blessed with a loving family and brilliant grandparents. As an enthusiastic footballer and swimmer in high school, he focused his zeal for life into a five-year degree in International Economics with distinction from the University of Buffalo.
Anxious to depart Buffalo, Pat spent three years at a West Coast consulting firm specializing in digital technologies and production optimization designs. As an encore to consulting, he spent five years in San Diego cutting his teeth on all things wireless, and for the past 32-years loving life in Boulder as an entrepreneur focused on building Cellport System, which specializes in connected vehicle technologies, securing four essential patent portfolios, and promoting open licensing of connected vehicle designs and software.
With 23 patents to his credit and racking up 2.7 million miles on United traveling the world as CEO of Cellport, Pat’s life has been full of good fortune. Based on his experience as an entrepreneur, a decade ago Pat wrote a great book on the subject called IdeaJacked.
Mostly retired from Cellport along with University board work, Pat enjoys living with his longtime girlfriend and City Club member Jane Trumble, reading voraciously on history, economics and some fiction. A decades-long Highland tenant and City Club member, Pat enjoys being a part of the Highland community while keeping an eye on his long-time friend Sina (the beaver).
