Catherine Burgess

Raised in Hinsdale, IL, Catherine graduated early from Mt. Holyoke College to attend chef school, and proceeded to cook and write professionally. Along the way she relocated eleven times, each time fixing or building houses. 

Catherine is the founding broker for Compass Real Estate; she runs Burgess Group at Compass which is one of Boulder’s top 25 real estate producers by volume.

Catherine has done lots of board work and is currently on the board of Museum of Boulder. Her board focus is strategic planning, and she is wildly supportive of entrepreneurship/women’s leadership. But first and foremost Catherine is a loving wife and mother of two daughters who are 17 and 20. 

Catherine adores comedy and pranking everyone dear in her life, while striving to bring joy and authenticity to every moment of her life. Catherine says she is thrilled to be part of the vibrant Highland City Club community.
