David Bright

David grew up in Maryland and later received a B.A. in Chemistry from Duke and M.D. from University of Maryland. He practiced for 25 years in Florida in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice & Wellness Medicine, Diving & Hyperbaric Medicine, and Medical Informatics. In 2007 he moved to Boulder, working part-time in Urgent Care and Wealth Management (2007-2019).

He’s been a Highland City Club since 2007, and loves the friendships, the exquisite cuisine, the Securus Locus scene, and the Community Table.

He married his South African penpal, Avril, in 1978, they've raised two Bright sons, Adam and Steven, and now are blessed with 3 baby grandchildren. He's a 9 on the Enneagram (Peacemaker) with a 2 (Helper) wing.

His interests and activities include Multidimensional Wealth, Family, philosophy, climate change mitigation, circular economy, online learning, e-bikes, tennis, swimming, hiking, the natural world, science, technology, and travel.
