Mike Laszlo
As an attorney whose practice spans corporate, commercial, and wine law, Mike works closely with business owners across sectors, helping them raise capital, navigate operational challenges, and resolve disputes. His work ranges from advising solo entrepreneurs to supporting multinational companies through complex transactions, negotiations, and litigation. He views legal practice as fundamentally relational—an ongoing commitment to understanding the people behind the businesses and guiding them over time.
His professional path has shaped a measured philosophy. Years of contract negotiations and courtroom conflict have taught him to seek objectivity, assume every issue holds multiple perspectives, and reserve argument for moments when it is truly necessary. Practicing alongside his father throughout his career has strengthened his instinct for relationship-centered counsel. He approaches others with the belief that “everybody is somebody’s somebody,” meeting each encounter with openness and respect.
Parallel to the law, he is drawn to creative work—branding, typography, design, and especially film photography, which he values for its tactile, living quality. His winemaking venture in Sonoma reflects the same sensibility, joining craft, patience, and a long horizon. Golf offers a similar blend of discipline and discovery; it gave him his first job at 14 and has since carried him to courses around the country, opening unexpected friendships and opportunities.
At home, life is anchored by his wife and three children, whose schooling, sports, and daily rhythms shape the family’s world. Their needs guide his sense of purpose as he considers the “second mountain” ahead and the next chapter he hopes to build.
