Stephen Morris

Steve grew up on the water in his native New Zealand, sharing his family's love of sailing, which turned into the start of his career as an engineer designing multi-million dollar racing yachts, and building and coaching high-performing teams to help his clients win the world's most demanding yacht races.

This career brought him to Annapolis, MD, where he rose to be a leader at the world's top yacht design firm. There he worked on many grand prix and round the world race winning designs, as well as multiple America's Cup team stints. These experiences gave him a grounding in high-performing teams, which he took into the Government contracting field, becoming a certified PMP project manager and helping the US Navy launch ships into the fleet.

Six years ago Steve founded his own teaching and coaching practice helping people teams and businesses get unstuck and sail forward. As a member of the professional Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) Implementer community, he loves helping business leadership teams gain traction through elevating and strengthening their business execution.

Steve's passion for the outdoors, and a desire to get back to the active lifestyle he enjoyed in New Zealand has led him to relocate to Boulder with his partner, Kathy. Here they are exploring resilience, by uniting Steve's deep interest in human performance with Kathy's desire to respond to climate change by constructing an integrated residence and passive solar greenhouse.
