Fall Planning

For the past six months, we have been blessed with access to our spacious gardens, allowing for natural social distancing to avoid Covid-19. However, with the arrival of Fall, the garden season coming to a close, and in anticipation of moving inside, we are launching a new phase in service beginning Monday, October 19th.

To set the scene, we have reduced the number of seats in our Dining Room to allow for proper social distancing, and we are serving lunch in other areas of the Club such as the Grand Room, Library, various Conference Rooms, and the new Carrara Marble Table on the First Floor. In addition, we will once again utilize glass and china.

With regards to service, Catherine and the Service Team will notify the Kitchen of your arrival and will seat you at your pre-assigned table, providing beverage service and salad course while you await your pre-ordered, customized meal, hot from the Kitchen.

Also, due to popular demand from our vegetarian members, we are changing our food pricing structure so we can serve a vegetarian version of each day’s menu at a base price of $14. Members may then decide if they want to add the protein of the day at $5, extra protein for $5, or extra greens, carbs, vegetables or dessert at $3 each.

Under the new plan, members may have a delicious vegetarian meal, salad, beverages such as water, tea or coffee for $14, or add protein and various other extra items, including dessert, for an additional cost.

When the virus finally leaves us, hopefully soon, we plan to expand our food service offerings to include breakfast starting at 7 am, followed by fresh squeezed juices and delicious appetizers such as organic homemade hummus with olives and toasted pita bread all day through 6 pm.

With a fireplace and an espresso machine on the third floor, the kitchen as our cornucopia, and a stocked wine cellar on the Club Level, Highland is the best and safest place to work, meet friends and have a great meal.

The success of our proposed plan depends on your continued support, so please visit soon. We are bored with the divisive politics and dire economic news, miss our community table, and would love to safely break bread and catch up.
