In 2013 Anna was providing gourmet meal service to Boulder families when one of her clients asked her to bake cookies for her son who required a grain-free diet because he suffered from Lyme disease. Using her culinary training, Anna created a delicious new almond-flour-based cookie, without sacrificing flavor, and Boulder Bake was born!

As a mother of four, a professional chef and a fourth generation food entrepreneur, Anna learned the trade from her great grandparents who brought Italian Ice Cream to Memphis 100 years ago, and her grandparents were the first to create BBQ pizza, Elvis Presely was a regular, in the 1950’s.

Anna is passionate about women's role in reforming our current food system, which has traditionally been a male dominated industry serving mostly female grocery shoppers. She hopes to help create more opportunities for women in all aspects of food manufacturing, and help raise capital for small to midsize companies founded and run by women.

Anna loves her urban garden and chickens, likes to ski, hike and raise her four amazing daughters with her husband
