Jon was recently hired to run the software side of ESI's eDiscovery, the only legal research database focused exclusively on electronic discovery. When he escapes from his office, you’ll find him visiting the new cappuccino machine on the top floor where he drinks espresso two shots at a time.

Jon grew up in Mexico, Switzerland and Sweden, before eventually making his way to Boulder to study entrepreneurship at CU. He started his career in refugee camps across Thailand and West Africa, but eventually he burned out and decided to put his degree into practice and started his own business in the outsourcing, data science and cybersecurity industries.

Jon met his wife Tina in graduate school at Tulane and settled in the DC area where they spent the last eleven years. An acquisition brought Jon back to Colorado this summer, knowing his three daughters, ages 3, 7 and 9 love being near the mountains. Jon’s passions are swimming, traveling, and teaching his daughters snowboarding. Jon volunteers as a business mentor with international entrepreneurs at Watson.is, and Longmont entrepreneurs at eforall.org, as well as kid entrepreneurs at Dreamtank.io.

Coming up on his big 40, Jon has been contemplating the meaning of it all, so if you have the answer, do let him know, over a cup of coffee.
