Sergei Razgulin
At his core Sergei is a software engineer, with deep family roots in engineering and the Silicon Taiga. Originally from Akademgorodok Russia (the technological hub of Siberia), he moved to the US in middle school, grew up in Boulder, attended Boulder High, and later got his Masters degree in Computer Science from CU. After graduating, he worked with various software companies, from tiny startups to several major corporations, and on projects such as software security for code escrow and discovery, socially aware advertising networks, and more recently, processing and analysis of big data for cloud-on-prem systems. With a keen interest in technology and science, Sergei spends a considerable amount of time delving into topics related to both. The favorite among these are Internet of Things systems, including his current work on automating a moisture monitoring and watering system for the 50+ house plants that occupy every corner of his house. Outside of work and engineering pursuits, Sergei spends his time in the mountains on the typical Colorado outdoor activities, like hiking, camping, skiing with the occasional ice skating, bouldering, and mountain biking. With a couple decades of experience, he is always up for a new adventure or sharing a favorite trail or two.
